How to get rid of pimple scars

If you are truly serious about learning how to get rid of pimple scars then you need to also know how to prevent them in the first place.

The first thing you need to know about pimples is that there are more than one type. Granted they all start the same, with some sort of pour blockage by dirt oil or skin cells. After this bacteria will infect the pour and it will become a pimple of some type. There are 4 major types of pimples that you need to know about in order to treat them all a certain way and prevent getting any more pimple scars.

One type of pimple is called a papule. It is a read and inflamed lesion on the surface of the skin. There is no white head on this pimple it us just red. This will usually later turn into a pustule. The best way to treat a papule is to NOT SQUEEZE IT. Se if it starts to heal on its own and if not then try Benzoyl peroxide to prevent them.

Next you may get a pustule. This is a typical pimple that most people get with a white head. You can usually treat these with benzoyl peroxide creams or cleansers. Even though I know you want to, try not to pop a pustule as it can scar your skin.

There are also pimples that are called Nodules. These are very large and inflamed lesions that are deep within the skin. They will usually feel hard and are painful to the touch. They are basically the same as papules but are much deeper in the skin. It is very important to never squeeze or pick a nodule because it is too deep to get any puss out of and the chances it will scar your skin is very high.

The last type of pimple is actually a cyst. They are large and inflamed lesions. Cysts are the most severe form of pimple and are usually very painful. If you have cysts it is best to talk to your dermatologist.

There a few different types of acne scars and it is important to know what you are dealing with if you want to learn how to get rid of pimple scars. The type of acne that you had or have is what will determine the type of scars you have on your face. Another determining factor will be how your skin heals.

-Severe acne, this is where your skin is badly inflamed with a very large amount of pus filled pimples or cysts.
